Infinite Angles
04:20

What angle do you see the world from?
My reflection in the water at the edge of the sea spoke to me
He said
you know that this is where you truly belong.
You're drowning in the congestion of all those mainland towns
and I'll be damned if that's the way
I let you go down
In a perfect world:
everyone would know the right way to go
if they just did what they were told.
No need to take the longest way from home
and find out the hard way on your own.
I can't tell if I'm floating off the ground
or if I'm falling off the earth
I see everything clearly from up here
I see everything for what it is from up here
Caught up in the distance kept
Saturated visions all that's left
I think it's best to keep my distance
because I can see everything so clearly
I can see everything from up here
What angle do you see the world from?

Beneath the blanket of
Autumn decay
Our footprints leave behind
the bond that we paved.
Our minds are the film reels capturing moments
The memories we create
We make them to replay
On Eyelid projector screens
When we need an escape
My head can be found in the clouds again
My feet brought me to the trails of my daydreams
Followed them up
To find my head on the mountain top
Our minds are the film reels capturing moments
As our feet zoom us in through the scenes

PLK
04:46
|

Conditioned patrons liquidating
Hours of their lives
They're pushed around for petty pennies
on the company dime.
Consume to cover
Indulge for comfort
Debt to another
Back here again
The television
Tells you what you see
Is how to live your life
Moneys all you need
Don't let the powers that be
Pull one over on you
A system designed to keep
Keep you where they want you
We all were given a brain
Not taught how to use it
The most complex machine
It's time to find your blueprints
Sell out the ones that sold us out
Sell out the souls that sold us out
Become a king in this world of pawns
Not the board we're all just standing on
All our resumes should state
we're all the actors
and we're underpaid

Gifts From Whoever
03:52

My life is lived through a mirror image of myself.
I walk around with my head up high
in all the wrong neighborhoods
but hang my head around familiar faces.
I've gotten to the point wheres theres no point
to continue talking (i'd just be misunderstood)
It's hard for me to convey
my words poetically
but this is me in my realest form
and I'm not gonna hide it anymore.
I drift around this pavement
like i have a million times before
wielding a mindset
where living past 30 is my only fear
I should have been born 10 years earlier
I search for a place to call my home but its not here.
A decade ago everything i looked up to
was in its prime
I'm in the right place
at the wrong time.
It's sad to see this generation try to duplicate
everything that had feeling.

Hit and Run
03:02
|
|||
the blue in my eyes
had almost faded to gray
and the white on my walls
began to wither away
so my only choice
was to do what ive done
so many times before
and just move on
with no remorse
The day moss gathers on me
is the day ive died
or finally felt at home
for the first time
comfortable
a feeling i havent had
the pleasue to know
at least for long
i was raised from an early age
to bear a nomads uncomplacent ways
my flaws made me who i am
my past brought me to where i stand
my faults showed me my true friends
my heart found its rhythm again
